Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service govern the use of Sealed TCG Dex, a web application for managing sealed TCG (Trading Card Game) product collections. The service is provided free of charge by BatisseurDuNumerique.

2. Access to the Service

The service is accessible free of charge from any internet-connected device. Creating an account is optional: the service can be used in local mode without registration. Cloud mode requires creating an account with a valid email address.

3. Local Mode

In local mode, data is stored exclusively in your browser (IndexedDB). This data is not backed up on our servers. The user is solely responsible for their data in this mode. Data loss (browser clearing, device change) cannot be recovered.

4. Cloud Mode

Cloud mode allows you to synchronize your collection across multiple devices. Data is stored on Supabase servers. We strive to ensure service availability and data security, but cannot guarantee 100% availability or against data loss.

5. User Obligations

The user agrees to:

  • Use the service lawfully and in good faith
  • Provide accurate information when creating an account
  • Keep their login credentials confidential
  • Not upload inappropriate, illegal, or infringing content
  • Not attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the service

6. Intellectual Property

The website and its content (code, design, texts) are the property of BatisseurDuNumerique.

Users retain ownership of the content they upload (photos). By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and display this content solely for the provision of the service.

TCG brand names and logos are the property of their respective owners (The Pokémon Company, Wizards of the Coast, Konami, Ravensburger, Bandai).

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. BatisseurDuNumerique cannot be held liable for:

  • Service interruptions or unavailability
  • Data loss in local or cloud mode
  • Actions of third parties
  • Indirect damages

8. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email (for registered users) or by notice on the site.

9. Account Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. Your data will be deleted within 30 days.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete an account in case of Terms of Service violation, without notice in serious cases.

10. Applicable Law

These Terms of Service are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, the competent courts will be those of Grenoble, France.
